Volando Concealed Weapon at Tempest a/k/a Kimber, FDCH-S, a/k/a Shark
Kimber is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is overflowing with the zest of life. Her grandfather is our very own Klondike so it's not surprising that she's a lot like him. She actually learned the basics of flyball very quickly, even though we made sure she was not rushed in her training. She's begun making some seriously bizarre sounds while waiting to race. We can only suppose it's her enthusiasm finding voice! In her first two tournaments, Kimber was solid only in the left lane. But hey, she has to start somewhere. Kimber reminds us a lot of her great grandma Jazz in her style of running - full tilt and the jumps be damned! She recently began running for Chris instead of Alisa and she can really fly for him. She posted 4.3s right out the door. Apparently, running the height dog is Chris's forte'.
